WHAT IS PERMANENT JEWELRY

THE PROCESS
The jewelry bonding process may sound complicated, but it’s actually simple and safe. Once you select your design, I’ll use a special welding tool to connect the ends of the chain directly, while it’s on your body. This creates a strong, seamless bond. I use the EVERARC by EVERLINX for welding.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PERMANENT JEWELRY
Caring for permanent jewelry is simple but important. Regular cleaning with mild soap and water, or polishing with a jewelry cloth, will help to keep your chains shiny and new. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the metal or irritate your skin.

A few tid-bits:

Jewelry is not really meant to be permanent. A chain can and should break if under too much stress. Chains can also stretch.

Metal can and will tarnish. Oils, lotions, sweat, and chemicals can oxidize the metals over time, creating discoloration of the skin.

Everyone’s skin reacts differently to metal. Sterling silver and solid gold have relatively low reactive rates with skin, however, they can still turn skin green/black.
Re-Weld Info:

If you need to have your jewelry removed for a medical reason (MRI) or planned procedure, let me know and I’ll remove and re-weld at no charge.

Outside of a medical necessity, there is a 30-day window for re-weld at no charge. After 30 days there is $15 fee.

If the chain breaks at a place other than the weld point, new jewlery can be purchased at a discount within 30 days.

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, must be paid prior to booking and go towards your purchase.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Chains are cut to you, I cannot resell cut chain. PERIOD

Cancellation within 12 hrs of appointment will result in loss of deposit.

Sorry to my little-little’s – I won’t put PJ on anyone under 12 years old, but I will weld a piece with a clasp.

Anyone under 16 yrs must have a legal guardian present and waiver signed.
I am currently stocking Gold Filled and Sterling Silver chain options. I will occasionally offer PVD (Gold Plated), but want to keep my chain selections of the highest quality. I am choosing suppliers that have quality controls in place and will continue to monitor chain wearability and quality as we move forward.
